From February 28, 2022 (Monday) in Canada, COVID-19 quarantine regulations for entrants are significantly eased – PCR testing is changed to optional

From February 28, the Canadian government has decided to ease the submission of PCR test results within 72 hours, which has been mandatory for all arrivals, as an option.
Arriving travelers can substitute a rapid antigen test approved by the country of departure instead of a PCR test.
However, this regulation applies to those who have received the 1st and 2nd vaccines, and those who have not been vaccinated are required to present a negative PCR test result + self-quarantine for 14 days as before.
In addition, in the case of those who have completed vaccination, even if they are subject to random PCR testing at the airport, they do not need to go into self-isolation until the test results come out, and children under the age of 12 who have not been vaccinated are no longer required to self-isolate for 14 days.
In Case of Korean adults departing for Canada, the vaccination rate is close to 90%, so it can be said that it is virtually possible to enter Canada freely.
