속보) 한국 입국자 6월1일부로 PCR 검사 종료 - 입국전 공항검역관에게 QR코드 제시는 유지

When visiting Korea, the PCR test was completed.
Following the disappearance of the submission of vaccine-related certificates when entering Korea, it is no longer necessary to conduct PCR tests that had to be voluntarily received on the third day after entering Korea.
However, before entering the country, quarantine information must be entered through Q-CODE, a pre-entry system for quarantine information, and QR codes issued from the system must be presented to quarantine officers when entering the country to check their health status. The Korean government announced on the 31st that it will lower the COVID-19 crisis alert level from "serious" to "warning," and that it will switch the 7-day quarantine obligation for confirmed patients to a 5-day recommendation.
As a result, the remaining obligation to wear masks at local clinics and pharmacies will disappear as of June 1. In addition, the "self-diagnosis app," which was operated to check the health status of students before going to school, was also suspended. However, medical institutions above the hospital level where patients are concentrated and facilities vulnerable to admission-type infection will be required to wear masks for the time being.
A government official explained that such a measure marks the first time in three years and four months since the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in January 2020. According to the mid- to long-term plan announced by the government, the government plans to expand the scope of use of the Q-CODE system in the future. Currently, the system has been established at eight airports and used by 5 million people, but it plans to expand seven more ports within this year so that 450,000 more people can use it here alone.
